Charmouth - New build

This was a new build construction in Charmouth that required demolishing an old house and starting afresh from the foundations. The job itself was bespoke to the client, whom we continuously worked closely with to achieve a unique new build.

It included adding personal touches for the client, such as laying a real ammonite fossil into the stone wall of the entrance. This job involved working closely with local companies to get the perfect finish that matched the client's needs and vision, using iroko doors from a local joinery and Purbeck stone for the masonry work. Adding this to the new build gave the house a modern but also traditional finish to the external cladding that suited its seaside location.

We fitted a solid iroko wooden staircase with glass balustrade, and created a bespoke glass cabinet with built in lighting, to exhibit the client's impressive fossil and geode collection.
