PUNCKNOWLE - RENOVATION
This project involved major renovation work on the clients old stone farmhouse and barn. We worked closely with the client and their architect to ensure that we could utilise this building as best possible to create open and modern spaces, whilst retaining the traditional character of the property.
This involved pulling down walls, putting in new window openings and new windows, moving the staircase, repointing the stonework and insulating the building from the inside. With heritage buildings one always has the issue of heat loss, so it was really important we used the latest methods and materials to ensure this wasn't a problem. We also laid down new floors and organised plumbers and electricians to help with re-wiring and install new systems.
Finally we also renovated an outbuilding within the property land, and completed a loft conversion, to ensure that each element of the clients dream home was complete.
